Solar roof panels are specifically designed for use in grid connected applications such as EDL’s commercial buildings and aircraft shelters roof tops. Wind Turbines

Today, EDL Construction, Inc. is fully energized for U.S. Government wind power projects. Through our existing GSA Contract, EDL offers wind turbines with high electrical yielding capacity. Wind turbines can be connected to the meter of a military building system (warehouse, ammunition storage building and maintenance facilities). With a wind turbine, military bases can produce their own renewable energy, thus reducing electrical costs.    

EDL also offers Hybrid Wind Turbines which can generate energy while reducing generator’s diesel fuel consumption to a minimum. Hybrid Wind Turbines have a nominal output of 80kW and 250 kW. A diesel generator with equal or larger capacity connected to the wind turbine will provide the grid power and will act as a back up in case there is insufficient wind to produce the needed electricity. The wind turbine will power the diesel fuel generator when there is sufficient wind, thus maximizing diesel fuel savings.
